Carlos Escalante of San Nicolas, Argentina was an LDS branch president while he allegedly sexually abused his stepdaughter.

The abuse continued for five years.

He was later excommunicated and then rebaptized.

He was convicted in 2018 and sentenced to 14 years in prison.
