Case report

In 2001, Donald Mark Blanchard was a Mormon church member in California. He was convicted of two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 (criminal record). Attorney Breinholt stated, “Of course the Brethren in Salt Lake knew about these cases.” (The Growing Mormon Sex Abuse Scandal, September 23, 2009 by Jeff Breinholt) Blanchard appealed the conviction, but the Appellate court “rejected the defendant’s claim of cumulative error and affirmed the judgement. “
