Case report
This case arose in 2004 in Utah.
From case notes obtained by FLOODLIT:
“Michael Driggs was charged with sexual abuse of a 12 year old child he met at the LDS Church. This pedophile was convicted in 1985 of child sex abuse and in the past while serving an LDS mission in Brazil. He was arrested and charged with on first-degree felony counts of sodomy on a child and aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and a third-degree felony count of dealing harmful material to a minor. Court records show that Driggs had been previously convicted of sexual conduct with a minor in Maricopa County, Ariz., and was a registered sex offender as a result.”
