Case report

Eddie Bunch was a Mormon church member in St. George, Utah.

According to a police affidavit obtained by FLOODLIT, in 2014 while visiting the victims in Clearfield, Utah, Bunch touched 16-year-old Victim 1 on her breasts over her clothing. Bunch also visited 12-year-old Victim 2 in her home. Her mother saw Bunch touch the victim’s breast. The mother confronted Eddie and he stated he “has a sick mind.”

Bunch was found guilty of LEWDNESS INVOLVING A CHILD – Class A Misdemeanor and SEXUAL BATTERY – Class A Misdemeanor.

Bunch served 135 days in jail and had 36 months of probation.

As of March 2024, Bunch is a registered sex offender living in St. George, Utah.
