Case report

Richard Curtis Baker was a mormon in Clearfield, Utah. After selling his home the new owner did some remodeling and found a camera in the bathroom with footage showing Baker setting up a camera, which then went on to record children using the restroom. The new owner turned the recordings into the police and Baker was charged with 4 counts of SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR – 2nd Degree Felony and 3 counts of VOYEURISM BY ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT CONCEALED OR DISGUISED – Class A Misdemeanor. Baker was found guilty of 1 count of SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR and 1 count of VOYEURISM BY ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT CONCEALED OR DISGUISED.
Baker was sentenced 1-15 years in prison/prison time suspended. Jail sentence was 364 days, with 4 days credit and probation for 46 months.
