Viggo Robert Madsen was a Mormon in Ammon, Idaho.

Madsen was arrested on March 3, 2013. A no-contact order was issued the next day, and on March 13, 2013, the court extended it for three years. He remained in jail until he posted a $75,000 surety bond on July 3, 2013.

Madsen pleaded guilty under a plea agreement on October 3, 2013. At sentencing on January 9, 2014, the court made the no-contact order permanent and remanded him to custody. The court denied his motion to reduce his sentence in March 2014. He filed a second motion in 2016 and withdrew his petition for post-conviction relief, and the court denied that motion in July 2016. He became eligible for parole on September 9, 2018.

    Idaho Falls Police arrested 57-year-old Viggo Robert Madsen for two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor following an investigation.

    Madsen of Ammon was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

    According to reports, officers were notified on Saturday night that Madsen had been having sexual relations with two 14-year-old girls. The incidents occurred over the last seven months.
