No charges were brought and police were never contacted.

It took nine women’s husbands, two of them his own counselors in the bishopric, reporting to the stake president before he was excommunicated. According to the report, nothing was done for the women affected, no one was permitted to discuss the extent of it or to make contact with one another, and shame kept everyone quiet. He has since moved to another state.
