Frank Perkins (born 1975) molested a seven-year-old boy in California and was tried as a juvenile for it. He joined the LDS church in 1995.

A former wife reported to FLOODLIT that he told her about the offence and maintained the child had consented, and that the church ignored that history: he was baptised and given the priesthood.

She also describes domestic violence during the marriage, and states that when she raised it church leaders blamed her for not respecting his authority. She divorced him.
