Alan Roman Andrus was sentenced Feb. 20, 2026 to 32 days in jail and probation after a California jury found him guilty of simple assault.
Andrus was a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS / Mormon church) from 2004 to 2009 in the El Dorado Hills area.
Floodlit has reported on over 80 former LDS bishops who have been convicted of sex crimes, including child sexual abuse.
