1. Pahrump man, 61, accused of abusing 2 girls over several years
A 61-year-old Pahrump man has been arrested in connection with child sexual abuses charges, according to the Nye County Sheriff's Office.
Douglas Todd Lund has been charged with two counts of lewdness with a child under 14 and two counts of child sexual abuse with a child under 14, authorities said. He was booked into the Nye County Sheriff’s Office detention center, where he is being held on $30,000 bail.
The charges stem from a report from two juvenile females who allege that Lund had been sexually lewd with them several times, deputies said.
Authorities launched an investigation and found that Lund allegedly had been sexually lewd with the two girls in dozens of instances for several years, deputies said.
