Shane Michael Murray was an LDS member in West Jordan, Utah.  A 14 year old female asked Murray to pick her up.  After driving one block Murray raped the minor.  She reported it to her friend and the bishop.  Murray pleaded guilty and was convicted of 2 counts of forcible sex abuse a 2nd degree felony.  Murray was sentenced 2-30 years.

SENTENCE PRISON
Based on the defendant’s conviction of FORCIBLE SEX ABUSE a2nd Degree Felony, the defendant is sentenced to an indeterminate term of not less than one year nor more than fifteen years in the Utah State Prison.
