Daniel Ernest Morgan (AKA Dr. Dan Morgan) was a Mormon church member and D.O. in New York.
Morgan was accused of sexually assaulting a patient. The alleged assault took place in 2020 during a chiropractic appointment.
He was convicted in 2022 of one 3rd degree Class B misdemeanor count of sexual abuse.
Morgan also lost a defamation lawsuit he filed against the victim in 2021 while criminal charges were pending against him, via summary judgment in 2023.
According to a person familiar with Morgan’s case, Morgan was accused of inappropriately touching multiple women in his Latter-day Saints church ward who went to him for chiropractic care.
We searched for the criminal court case records and were unable to find them, yet. But we were able to confirm that Morgan had been convicted via the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct:

“A. On or about December 14, 2022, in the Brownsville Town Court, Jefferson County, New York, the Respondent was convicted of one count of New York Penal Law section 130.55, sexual abuse in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor.”
We were unable to verify if Morgan has an active license currently, because the website is down.

On Dec. 16, 2020, State Police in Watertown arrested Dr. Daniel E. Morgan, age 36, from Watertown, NY, for Sex Abuse 3rd degree, a class “B” misdemeanor.
Doctor Morgan is accused of inappropriately touching a female patient during a chiropractic appointment at Morgan Osteopathic Medicine in Watertown, NY, troopers said.
Dr. Morgan was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Watertown Court on January 14, 2021, at 9 a.m. -

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) — A Watertown man has been arrested charged with sexual abuse.
New York State Police have reported that Dr. Daniel E. Morgan, 36, of Watertown, N.Y. has been arrested for sexual abuse in the third degree.
Dr. Daniel E. Morgan worked at Morgan Osteopathic Medicine in the City of Watertown.
According to New York State Police, Morgan was arrested following claims of inappropriately touching a female patient during a chiropractic appointment.
State Police confirmed that Dr. Morgan was issued an appearance ticket for January 14, 2021 in the Town of Watertown Court.

Watertown, N.Y. — A Watertown doctor was arrested Wednesday on charges that he sexually abused a female patient during an appointment.
Dr. Daniel E. Morgan, 36, was charged with third-degree sex abuse, a misdemeanor. State police said Morgan, a doctor of osteopathic medicine who operates Morgan Osteopathic Medicine in Watertown, inappropriately touched the patient during an appointment.

4. Watertown doctor accused of sexually abusing patient
WATERTOWN, N.Y. — A Watertown doctor was arrested Wednesday and accused of third-degree sexual abuse, State Troopers said.
Dr. Daniel E. Morgan, 36, is accused of inappropriately touching a female patient during a chiropractic appointment atMorgan Osteopathic Medicine in Watertown.
Morgan was issued an appearance ticket for this Class B Misdemeanor and is expected to appear in the Town of Watertown Court on Jan. 14.
Dr. Morgan is credentialed as part of the Samaritan Medical Center staff and also owns and operates his own private practice according to a spokesperson for Samaritan Medical Center. That spokesperson went on to inform CNY Central that Dr. Morgan provides preceptor training "on a very limited basis" to the Graduate Medical Education program but due to COVID-19 precautions he is not scheduled to provide this training "for the foreseeable future."
CNY Central contacted Dr. Morgan at his business. He confirmed his business is still operational and that he was aware of this criminal charge he now faces. He stated that he was advised by his lawyer to not provide any public comment.
