Daniel Gary Archibald was a Mormon church member in Rexburg, Idaho. He received a 12-year federal prison sentence for distributing child pornography.

A former member of his BYU-Idaho student singles ward reported to FLOODLIT that Archibald attended that ward in 2006-2007 while his father served as its bishop; he was roughly eight to ten years older than the students, divorced, not enrolled at the school, and living with his parents.

According to the account, he made women in the ward uneasy, and after he asked one of them on a date the bishop privately advised her against continuing to see him.
