David A. Kellett, 56, is a Mormon church member and returned missionary from Powell, Wyoming, a disabled military veteran, IT business owner, and former local Tea Party organizer who twice ran unsuccessfully as a Republican candidate for the Wyoming House.

He was arrested in December 2024 and charged with 11 felonies, including nine counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, after a minor told police he had sexually, physically and mentally abused them for ‘as long as they could remember,’ at least once a week.

He faces up to 215 years in prison if convicted.
