Jonathan Scott Erickson (born 1999) is a Mormon church member from Hyde Park, Utah. In March 2025, then 26, he used a social media app to solicit an undercover Duchesne County sheriff’s deputy posing as a 13-year-old, sent the account a nude photograph of himself, and arranged to meet the ’13-year-old’ for sex on April 12, 2025, but did not appear.
On February 11, 2026, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at his Hyde Park residence and arrested him.
On March 16, 2026, he pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony, and faces up to 15 years at sentencing.
