Kenneth Joshua Cordova (born 1973) presented himself as a Mormon church member, including through temple photographs on a dating profile. In November 2019, in Salt Lake City, Utah, he raped a woman he had met through that profile in her own home.

He was arrested and charged with several felonies.

After delays attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, the case took roughly four and a half years to reach trial; in 2024 he pleaded guilty to three counts of class A misdemeanor sexual battery under a plea agreement that the victim opposed and the State of Utah accepted. The person who reported the case states that Cordova has been attending a singles ward and that information sent to his bishop drew no response.
