Stephen McKean (1993 – ) was a Mormon church member in Springville, Utah and a BYU professor; arrested in April 2026 and charged with distributing material harmful to a minor (third-degree felony), and three counts of enticing a minor (class A misdemeanor); allegedly sent an explicit photo to an undercover police officer he thought was a 17-year-old girl.
According to court documents, one message from McKean to the undercover agent said, “You’re going to make me like you better than my wife.”
