David McConkie, a former Mormon bishop and stake president in Colorado, has admitted to attempted sexual assault on a child as part of a proposed plea deal.
In 2023, McConkie was charged with sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. He confessed to a church leader in 2008, according to his arrest papers. FLOODLIT is trying to get an unredacted copy showing the name and position of that church leader.
