Jayne Furness (1935 – 1987) was a Mormon church member and boy scout leader in Arroyo Grande, California; accused of sex abuse; found guilty of voyeurism charges in or before 1972, and found guilty of sexual abuse charges in 1976; sentenced in 1976 or 1977 to prison; died in 1987.

LDS Jayne Allen Furness “was tried and found guilty as a sex offender and is now incarcerated.” Furness was charged with 16 felony counts with children and, “did willfully and unlawfully have and accomplish as act of sexual intercourse with a female person, to wit (redacted) not his wife, who was than and there under the age of eighteen years, to wit, sixteen years.”
