Crime: 
Richard Oren Fowler was a Mormon church member in Sandpoint, Idaho.
According a person familiar with the case, Fowler allegedly engaged in lewd conduct with two Bonner County girls over a four-year period from 2008 to 2012.
One of the alleged victims was between the ages of 4-8; the other was between the ages of 6-10.
In 2020, Fowler pleaded guilty.
Fowler was sentenced to 180 days for each of the two counts. Each sentence ran concurrently, with 28 days credited.
He also received 5 years probation.

First District Judge Barbra Buchanan ordered Richard Oren Fowler, 76, to serve six months of incarceration at the Bonner County Jail due to his age and a litany of health problems.
A Bonner County grand jury indicted Fowler last year on lewd conduct charges. He is accused of sexually abusing both girls from 2008 to 2012. One of the alleged victims was between the ages of 4-8 and the was between the ages of 6-10, the indictment alleges.
