was a Mormon bishop in Pocatello, Idaho; an abuse survivor told FLOODLIT that Doe sexually abused them in his office at church in late 1999

Case report

John Doe (pseudonym) was a Mormon bishop who allegedly perpetrated sexual abuse in Fall of 1999 in Pocatello Idaho, in his office at church.

The abuse survivor who told FLOODLIT about this experience gave us the bishop’s name. We are not publishing it because the accused individual was never charged with a crime or otherwise publicly accused, as far as we are aware.

The survivor told FLOODLIT another person was also sexually abused by Bishop Doe.

If you or someone you know was sexually abused by an LDS church leader in or near Pocatello, Idaho in the late 1990s or early 2000s, please contact us. We believe this alleged perpetrator may have more victims.
