Spencer M. Pratt was a Mormon church member in Spanish Fork, Utah and Vice President of a Zion’s Bank branch in Utah.
According to the probable cause affidavit, an adult relative to two alleged child sex abuse victims spoke with police in late 2024 or January 2025. According to the relative, Pratt confessed to them (the relative) on November 24, 2024 that he had been touching the two children “inappropriately […] under their clothing.” Earlier that day, Pratt had gone to have a personal interview with his LDS bishop, according to the relative. Pratt told the relative that he had “decided to become a better man” and confessed to his bishop that he had a pornography addiction and had perpetrated child sexual abuse.
According to police, on December 11, 2024, the victims’ relative texted Pratt asking him if he ever regretted what he did to the victims. Pratt replied, “Every minute.” Later that day, Pratt texted saying, “I am truly sorry for what I did. I’m trying to make it right. I wen [sic] to the Bishop on my own to start this process, and am accepting the consequences that come. I have hope that what is broken can be fixed, that what is hurt can be healed. I know it will take time.”
On November 19, 2025 Pratt pleaded guilty to:
– FORCIBLE SEXUAL ABUSE – 2nd Degree Felony: plead guilty
-AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ABUSE OF A CHILD – 1st Degree Felony(amended to) – 2nd Degree Felony-: plead guilty
Pratt’s sentencing is Dec 31, 2025.
