Daniel Jobe Justice was a Mormon in Vernal, Utah. Justice allegedly sexually abused the same child for four years. Justice was charged with three counts of Rape of a child in the 1st degree and one count of sodomy in the 1st degree. Justice was found guilty of rape in the 1st degree on 05-14-2024 and was sentenced to five years to life and is currently in the Utah State Correctional Facility.     A Vernal man is scheduled to make an initial appearance in court today after his arrest last week on Child Rape charges. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 38-year-old Daniel Jobe Justice was arrested on December 5th on four acts of alleged sexual abuse of the same victim over the course of 4 years. Justice was interviewed by police and admitted to multiple occasions of sexual contact with the victim but denied that it amounted to rape. Justice is being held on no bail and is scheduled to be in court on December 11th.
