Lynn Hill was a Mormon scoutmaster in Utah.
In 1975, Hill was national financial vice president of the Intercollegiate Knights.
Hill worked from 1976 to 1984 as a financial auditor for the LDS church, including in Japan and other Asian countries.
Hill was sentenced in 2004 to up to five years in prison for sexually abusing a 17-year-old developmentally disabled girl.
Hill molested her while driving her to an LDS church activity for disabled children, and at her home, according to charging documents.
As of August 2025, Hill lives in Taylorsville, Utah. He is not a registered sex offender, despite his felony conviction.

3. Ex-bishop imprisoned for abuse
[Note: Hill was not a former LDS bishop, according to a later correction by the Salt Lake Tribune.]
A Salt Lake County man went to prison Monday for up to five years for sexually molesting a developmentally disabled 17-year-old neighbor girl.
Lynn Hill, 51 a former Mormon bishop and a Scoutmaster was charged in 3rd District Court with second degree felony forcible sexual abuse, but pleaded guilty to a lesser third felony count of attempted forcible sexual abuse.
Hill molested the girl who functions at an 8- or 10-year-old level while driving her to a church function for disabled children, and at the girl's home, according to charging documents.
The girl's mother became suspicious after seeing Hill's phone number on her caller ID box.
