Lynn Whitaker (1950 – ) was a Mormon church member in Kanosh, Utah; convicted of two counts of sex abuse of a child in March 2016; is incarcerated in Central Utah Correctional Facility as of May 2026; is a registered sex offender as of May 2026.

According to someone familiar with Whitaker, he was a former veil worker in the LDS temple. In addition, the person reported that Whitaker sexually abused 3 young females, confessed to his bishop and was put through a disciplinary council.

We have been unable to locate a probable cause affidavit to establish an abuse timeline, to see when the abuse took place and how long after that the charges against Whitaker happened. Floodlit purchased three separate documents that appeared to have the probable cause affidavit, but unfortunately those court documents had no helpful information.

As of May 2026, Whitaker is still incarcerated at Central Utah Correctional Facility and is a registered sex offender.
