Cesar J. Caceres (also known as Caceres Tello) is a Mormon church member and returned missionary who has served on a stake high council and as a Sunday school teacher in State College, Pennsylvania, and was a Spanish teacher at State College Area High School.

On June 10, 2024 he was charged in Centre County with Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Corruption of Minors, and Indecent Assault.

The criminal complaint alleges he closed his classroom door, sat next to a 15-year-old female student, touched her arms, back, hair and bare thigh, and asked her sexually explicit questions – including whether she had ever had sex or touched herself – until she cried. He waived his preliminary hearing on July 24, 2024, and Pennsylvania’s Professional Standards and Practices Commission immediately suspended his teaching certificate on December 5, 2024. According to a member of a ward that shares his meetinghouse, he remained an active attending member after the charges became known.
