Diane Shomaker Richardson was a Mormon church member in Salt Lake City, Utah and Anchorage, Alaska, who served as a Cub Scout leader, a Boy Scout volunteer, a pianist and in Relief Society.
A child of hers reported to FLOODLIT that from 1983 onward she physically and sexually abused her own children and children in her care at a daycare she ran, including very young children and children with intellectual disabilities.
The report states that she was reported by a spouse, by her children, by home teachers and by ward members, that she was eventually convicted as an adult, and that abuse of a spouse has continued since.
