Kelly Jensen was a Mormon bishop in Price, Utah. In July 2023 a group of young people went to an LDS meetinghouse to play basketball, having obtained a key from a parent who was a church leader.

Believing they had no permission to be there, Jensen blocked the bathroom doorway to prevent two of them from leaving and refused to let them go until they gave their names.

When they tried to pass he became physical, threw one of the minors to the ground, continued despite other young people intervening, and dragged him to the exit doors. Afterwards he kept two of the minors in the building and summoned their own bishop. The parents reported the incident to the stake president that day and called the church’s leader help line the following day. No sexual offence is alleged.
