- Karl Otterson (1965 – ) was a Mormon church member; convicted of sexual abuse in 2001, and two separate case of sexual abuse in 2004. In 2006 was convicted of criminal for hire, he tried to have the prosecuting attorney murdered by a hit man; was up for parole in 2024, was denied; Oct. 2026 is in prison in Utah State Prison; is a registered sex offender as of Oct. 2026
