Summary

Jean-Jacques S was a Mormon church member in France who allegedly sexually abused two children, ages 5 and 9.

The children’s attorney said that LDS church leaders and S’s family knew he was molesting the children but didn’t call the police even though he was heavily involved in Scouting.

Other LDS families with victimized kids refused to come forward and the children’s parents were shunned, according to a source familiar with the case.
