Emmett White was a Mormon church member and scout leader in Florida; was caught in 1966 by local police soliciting an adult sex worker (prostitute); denied any inappropriate behavior around scouts.

Placed in BSA files after being picked up for “making a contact” which meant soliciting a prostitute. Admitted to being bi-sexual, but denied ever interacting with scouts inappropriately.

LDS Emmett White is placed in the BSA confidential files but he assures the district scout executive that “he had not approached any Scouts or Scouters sexually.”
