Christopher Lee Fleming

Christopher Fleming was a Mormon church member in the Mt Pleasant Ward (Chesapeake, VA).  According to a source Fleming used church activities to befriend a family in the ward, and to groom and isolate one of their children. He would get the minor to step out of seminary and other church activities to spend time alone with him.

According to Floodlit’s source, he then engaged in sexual activities with the minor and was arrested after the parents found evidence of his crimes. He was convicted and is currently incarcerated in Virginia for multiple sex crimes against a minor as well as child pornography charges.

Our source says the leaders in Fleming’s ward once they were made aware of the grooming behavior, they attempted to limit his access to the church building to only times when he had a valid reason to be there (e.g. Sunday worship service).
