    A Guadalupe Union School District teacher has been placed on administrative leave and now has a warrant out for his arrest after being charged with misdemeanor lewd conduct by the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office.

    James Robert Ungricht, 35, was charged with misdemeanor engaging in lewd conduct and is due to appear for arraignment in San Luis Obispo County Superior Court on Thursday morning in Department 8.

    According to the school's website, Ungricht is a math teacher at Kermit McKenzie Junior High.

    The complaint charge, which was filed last month, alleges that Ungricht "did unlawfully engage in lewd and dissolute conduct in a public place and/or in a place open to the public and exposed to public view."
