James Walter Sirles was a mormon in Chesterfield, Virginia. Sirles was charged with 12 counts in 2005 against him or possesion of child pornography and production & distribution of child pornography. Sirles accepted a plea deal and was convicted of two counts of POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY and two counts of PROD & DIST CHILD PORNOGRAPHY. It appears from the court records Sirles was not sentenced with time in prison, no time in jail and no parole. But was fined. According to a Floodlit source Sirles was not punished by church leaders and never lost his good standing with his church attendance and callings, nor did he lose his temple recommend. And was able to freely mingle among his ward which was heavily populated by young children.
