Prue was an LDS member in Orem, Utah who met a 12 year old boy online playing Pokémon. Prue met the 12 year old boy, drove to a near by church parking lot where he sexually assaulted him and continued to sexually assault him from 2014-2018.

At the time of Prue’s arrest he was already a convicted sex offender, and was on probation. In 2016 Prue was charged with 11 felonies related to sexually assaulting another teenage boy, multiple times. He had met that boy online between 2013-2015.

OREM, Utah (ABC4 News) – A man convicted of repeatedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy he met online will spend a minimum of 15 years behind bars.
Charging documents state Christopher Jeremy Prue, 28, of Orem, pleaded guilty back in November 2019, to one count first-degree felony aggravated sexual abuse of a child and one count second-degree felony kidnapping.
Prue was sentenced last week by Judge Thomas Low to 15 years to life at the Utah State Prison. Along with his sentence, he will serve 1-15 years for the second-degree felony kidnapping charge.
At the time of his arrest, Prue was already a convicted sex offender who was on probation. Documents state Prue was charged in 2016 with 11 felonies related to multiple sexual assaults of another teenage boy he had met online between 2013-2015.
