Alex Boulton was a Mormon church member in Utah.
Born in 1917 in England, Boulton moved with his family to Australia when he was young.
Boulton was married in Australia in 1941. He and his wife were later married in the Logan, Utah LDS temple.
Boulton moved to the United States between approximately 1946 and 1948.
In 1956, Boulton was second counselor in the LDS 28th Ward bishopric in the South Ogden, Utah Stake.
Boulton was bishop of the LDS 28th Ward in South Ogden, Utah from 1963 to February 1967 (possibly earlier and later as well).
In 1995, Boulton was convicted via plea deal of one second-degree felony count of child sex abuse. He was sentenced to probation.
According to Boulton’s obituary in 2015, he “served as an extraction worker for the LDS church for over 30 years. Between him and [his wife], they extracted over 13 million names. Alex served diligently in many church callings.”
