Matthew Lyman Matthew Lyman (1970-2011) was a Mormon church member and a dentist in Logan, Utah; was convicted of felony forcible sexual abuse and misdemeanor sexual battery for touching a female patient inappropriately in 2005 while she was under anesthesia during a dental procedure; he voluntarily surrendered his dentistry license.

He was released on parole in March 2011 and found dead at age 41 in August 2011.

The case was covered by the Idaho State Journal, the Salt Lake Tribune and the Herald Journal.
