Summary

Lance Rushton was an LDS  member in Provo, Utah.  Pleaded guilty to 3 charges of DISTRIBUTE PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL – 3rd Degree Felony.  Lance photo shopped faces of family members, ward church members adults and children onto sexually explicit photos and distributed them online, for one year before he was caught.  A victim that has requested anonymity stated that the bishop spoke to the victims, or the parents if they were a minor.  He told them not to talk to each other or to other people in the ward about it. He emphasized the man’s process to repentance rather than the safety or well-being of the victims. Lance attended church meetings after this conversation happened amongst the victims and families.
