Glen Burnell McGhie was an LDS member in Santa Clara, California. McGhie had his physical therapy license revoked because he was convicted of lewd or lascivious act on a child age fourteen or fifteen, a felony on September 24 2002, Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara Case # CC247783. It has been reported to Floodlit that the church leaders tried to discourage reporting abuse to the police. In addition, they blamed a woman McGhie was in a relationship with, for not satisfying him as the reason for his sexual abuse on a minor.
In all, McGhie was accused of sexually abusing at least three victims, according to a source familiar with the case who requested anonymity.
