Logan Cornwell, a Mormon church member and dentist in the Gilbert-Mesa, Arizona, area, was accused in October 2025 of child sex trafficking and misconduct involving weapons.
A review of Cornwell’s social media profiles indicated that he was married in a Mormon temple and was active in the Mormon church as of 2022. We are seeking information regarding his current LDS status, and any callings or duties he may have had in the church.

Dr. Logan Cornwell, DMD
Dr. Logan is a Gilbert native, and proud to call AZ home. Dr. Logan was inspired to pursue dentistry by a sense of community and family. “Growing up, I was surrounded by excellent dentists who were able to serve their communities and spend time with their families. Through their influence, I decided that dentistry would give me the opportunity to both serve my community and spend time with my family.” Dr. Logan graduated from the University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry. He continued honing his skills in western Colorado working with the underserved population of the area.
Dr. Logan found his passion for implants and dentures early on in his career. He has spent a profound amount of time working with denture and implant patients starting prior to dental school. He is committed to continuously honing his skills and staying up to date with implant education in order to provide his patients with the highest quality of treatment available.

2. Mesa dentist accused of soliciting undercover officer posing as underage teen
MESA, AZ — An East Valley dentist is accused of child sex trafficking and misconduct involving weapons.
Court documents show that 34-year-old Logan Edward Cornwell of Gilbert, who owns a Mesa dental office, reportedly contacted an undercover officer online last week.
The undercover officer reportedly told Cornwell that he was a 16-year-old boy, and Cornwell offered to meet up with the “teen” in exchange for money.
The pair agreed to meet at the “teen’s apartment," with police following Cornwell’s vehicle to the designated apartment complex. Cornwell was seen leaving the apartment about 30 minutes later and officers conducted a traffic stop, police say.
Cromwell denied having any weapons in the vehicle at the time, but officials located a firearm, more than $16,000 in cash, two cell phones and condoms.
He was taken into custody on one count of child sex trafficking and one count of weapons misconduct for failing to disclose a firearm.
