A person who reported the case to FLOODLIT states that he molested them over several years from the age of 10, between 2005 and 2009.

They spent long stretches alone with him, unsupervised, running errands and keeping him company after his wife died – an arrangement the community regarded as commendable and did not question, because he was a temple-worthy member.

They repressed the memory until after his death, by which time they were no longer active in the church. Church leaders did not know.
