James Richard Kersey Sr. was a Mormon church member in Eastman, Georgia.  Who allegedly perpetrated a sex crime and has been arrested by Dodge Count Sheriffs Office, and booked Jan. 23, 2026.

Kersey Sr. has been charged with:

-computer child exploitation / felony

-computer pornography / felony

According to someone familiar with Kersey Sr.he has had the following church callings: Bishopric counselor, Sunday school teacher, primary teacher, Ward mission leader and elders quorum counselor.  They also stated Kersey Sr. has been the ward Santa Clause for the last 10 years.  In addition, they say Kersey Sr. also has been hired to be Santa Claus for various organizations in the area.
