    • Michael Whitehead was an LDS church member in Orem, Utah; convicted in 2004 of ENTICING A MINOR OVER THE INTERNET - Class A Misdemeanor
    • Shawn Whiting was a Mormon church member and scout leader in Utah; sentenced in 2012 to one to 15 years in prison for collecting and creating child pornography
    • Craig Whiting was an LDS church member in Bluffdale, Utah; charged in 2018 with child sexual abuse; as of Feb 2023, pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial; jury trial was scheduled to move forward in 2023
    • Alan Willey was a Mormon church member and schoolteacher in Utah; honored as teacher of the year twice at local schools; sentenced to prison in 2007 for sexually molesting a child who was one of his students; accused of sexually abusing many other little children in his classes
    • Keith Williams was a Mormon church member in Clearfield, Utah; accused of sexual abuse; allegedly molested a boy for three years; Mormon leaders allegedly failed to report the abuse to police, but approved Williams for an LDS temple wedding; convicted in 1991
    • David Williams was an LDS church member in West Valley, Utah; in 2019, found guilty of sexually abusing seven little girls for 14 years; the abuse was reported to parents and bishop and they allegedly did not report to police
    • Robert Wily was an Mormon church member in Utah; in 2004, pleaded guilty to four class A misdemeanor counts of sexual battery; arrested in 2020 for allegedly possessing several child exploitation images; convicted of one felony count in 2022; sentenced to 365 days in jail and 48 months probation
    • Alexander Winward was an LDS church member in Utah; pleaded guilty to 4 felony counts of child sex abuse, with all victims under the age of 7
    • Stephen Wold was a Mormon church member and former full-time missionary (to Panama) who lived in Highland, Utah; convicted in 2017 of first-degree felony aggravated sexual abuse of a 10-year-old girl and sentenced to 15 years to life in prison
    • Ruth Worthen was a Mormon church member in Hyde Park, Cache County, Utah; accused of child sexual abuse by one adult in a 2019 civil lawsuit and in 2023 by four adults (one of whom was the 2019 plaintiff); arrested and charged in June 2024 with numerous felonies related to child sexual abuse
    • Mitchell Young was an LDS missionary in Canada; in 1980, was sent home after allegedly molesting children; convicted in Arizona (1985) and Utah (1988) of child sexual abuse; in 1993, sentenced in Utah to 15 years in prison for molesting a child for five years; a 2002 lawsuit against the LDS church accused Mormon leaders of providing a safe harbor for him; as of 2024, lives in Ogden, Utah; registered sex offender
    • Brigham Young Second president of the Mormon church; married 56 women, including a 15-year-old and three 16-year-olds; was publicly accused during his life (1801-1877) of sexual misconduct, including adultery and illegal polygamy; never charged with a sex crime; arrested and charged with adultery in 1871; not found guilty; died in 1877
    • Jeffrey Young was a Mormon church member in Lehi, Utah; convicted of 12 counts of VOYEURISM BY ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT CONCEALED OR DISGUISED, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of obstructing justice
    • Karey Zimmerman was a Mormon church member in Utah and Nevada; in 2025, was accused in a civil lawsuit of child sexual abuse that allegedly took place in Nevada and Utah; the Mormon church was also named as a defendant; the lawsuit said a Utah bishop failed to report abuse allegations to police
